Saturday July 10th started out overcast and wet.  That did not stop those erstwhile mountain bikers from showing up on Rockland Farm for the inaugural Hotcycle race.  They were rewarded with dry skies by the time the races went off starting at 0900 with the beginners.  The track conditions were a bit slippery at first with plenty of evidence of how slippery adorning many jerseys and shorts as they wheeled out of the woods.  Quickly though, the trail firmed up and as the winds kicked up by noon it was almost completely dry.  The Single speeders were the last to go off at 1300 and were rewarded with just about perfect conditions.

Thanks to all those who braved the initial wet dawn of the day to attend our first ever Summer Hotcycle race!
